The Clean and the Hungry?

I've been cleaning like the madwoman that I am.. scrubbing floors and vacuuming and washing every dish we own. The house, instead of smelling like cat, smells more like a chemical flower. Simple Green, floral scent is my friend. The house is starting to look purty. I've a hard time remembering the last time the kitchen was this clean, and woe betide any mortal who defiles it within the next week for I will wreak all holy Cthulu type rage upon their feeble persons.

But since I've been cleaning... I've noticed things that have gone...missing. Things that I just saw within the last week. Grog has noticed it as well.. So far the total is.

2 cans corned beef hash
1 can Enchilada sauce
Our good stainless steel pot
Our good mop???

All of these things which are typically found inside our kitchen... and our kitchen just happens to be the main thoroughfare into the house. We almost never lock the kitchen door simply because someone is almost always home. The only time we lock it is if we know that no one will be in the house.

So now we're theorizing that some random bum is raiding our kitchen... which in this neighborhood is about as surprising as pimps with ugly suits.

But our Mop????

Must be very dirt concientious bums.

I'm pretending that I don't have to work tomorrow. Work is like one long boring dream that I can't wait to jump awake from. 3 days of work..4 days off. It's almost worth it.
