May i just take this opportunity to say how freaking retarded Yahoo hosting is?

I transferred my domain.. and ONLY my domain from Yahoo over to GoDaddy since they have a better control panel and it's easier to access.

During said transfer the website magically went down.

For those not internet-knowing. When you transfer a domain and only a domain.. nothing should happen to the website. It stays the same since the hosting doesn't change. It should just sit there and be a happy lamb.

But not so with Yahoo. Apparently.. from what I can garner, when I transferred my domain away from them... they immediately CANCELLED my hosting.

Re-tard-ded.

I figured this out when I bought some uber basic hosting and was able to assign worldinchains.com to it without a hitch.

Bastards.

So.. kerfucker. Time to get busy with uploading files.


So the previous weekend at faire blew horrible slime covered chunks. It was bad. Saturday was at least acceptable, but Sunday was truly miserable. As in.. " what the fuck am I doing here" kind of miserable. I sat and played my guitar for most of the day.. and managed to con a guy into buying me a cider by using the power of my chainmail covered boobs.

The gate count for Sunday? 400

yeah. Lame.

The search for a part time job continues as I need as much cashflow as possible. I can't do anything with what I'm bringing in here.

All in all..this is a pretty show.. but really lonely. Most people on site have trailers with air conditioning, and so stay in them most of the day (wise folk). I have my tent, and my car. And an impressive assortment of bugs to commune with.

It doesn't help that Captain Depression has decided to pay a visit. He's one rat bastard that I have no love for, but he's decided to hang out with me, and there's not much I can do to shake him.

I'm going to try taking more photos this week. And re-work the booth a bit.. and make more stock. Lots more stock.

All in all.. I think my general assessment for life right now is "meh".
