Esther just called.

Estther my best friend since high school with whom I haven't spoken with in almost 2 years because she felt we were just too "different". I being too much the bohemian and she being modern. Never mind that she was my soul sister. The person I adored and would have done anything for. That when she ran away from her home and son.. I went and found her.. by instinct alone. I knew where she was. When she went into labor with Terry.. I started bleeding too. But after the Europe trip it was decided, without her telling me or saying she had a problem with me.. that she just didn't want to know me anymore.
She just called to get Dad's number to pay him back. Just a brief " Hi.. can I have your Dad's #.. thanks bye"...
I wonder how hard it was for her to call.

And I almost hope she'll call again. Though I doubt it..

Last night was incredibly social for the hermit woman I am. Much fun. I finally got to see Counter Culture Cafe. yay! And I know I'll return soon to lounge and monopolize a comfy chair.

I just want to say that I love my friends. I hope they know this. I really do. All of you.

Ok i'm done being a sappy bitch. I'm going to go beat some dishes senseless.
