Not working.
Ok. So work type rant.
I order my decorative chain from "Company A" . This chain is what I use for my headbands, headdresses, belts, handwebs.. well. Fuck. Pretty much everything. And I am completely out. I have a huge show coming up.
"Company A" has a new ordering monkey to answer phones and take the orders.
I tell Ordering Monkey to please please PLEASE call me and let me know if there are any issues with the order and when they will be shipping it. "Company A" goes on a two and a half week annual vacation mid July.
I placed the order with them at the beginning of July.
I get an EMAIL saying " So we only have so and so of this type of clasp... but we have everything else, do you want us to ship this out? Let me know by 11AM today cause we're going on vacation starting today."
She sent that at 6AM?????
Why did she not call me??? No fucking clue. Especially when I was VERY SPECIFIC... to say CALL ME. AS I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO E-MAIL!!!!!!
So. I get through the Kentucky show with the small amount of chain I have left.
Their vacation ends and I call them the morning they get back. Talk to Ordering Monkey again. Ask her why she did not call as specified. Get no answer, Literally. As in she just breezed right by the question without even answering it.
I say "Fuck it...fine... please..just ship this out today as is... but ship it to THIS california address." As I'll be at my california peep's address.
She says "okay"..and then I e-mail her a confirmation of the address just to make sure that she doesn't fuck it up and get it wrong.
Check my account that night. No charge for the chain... and check my e-mail.. no confirmation of shipping or a tracking number.
FUCK!!!!!
Call them again this morning. Now am absolutely fuming. I ask Order Monkey " WHY DID YOU NOT SHIP YESTERDAY???"
Her answer..."Oh.....I don't know". Like really. She had no fucking clue.
Me: GDKSKFHFBDKSHSGFKJGLDIURHDKDH!!!!!!! FUCK! Ok...fine..please ship TODAY ..and ship it 3-day instead of 5 day like it was originally going to be".
Just checked my account.
That's right. No charge for the chain. Checked my e-mail.... no e-mail stating that my chain has been shipped or a tracking #.
Spitting nails does not even begin to cover it. I'm spitting exploding tip bullets at this point. Luckily they open at 7:30am Eastern Time. Which means I am getting my ass up at 4:30 here and calling them.
Faerieworlds starts on the 30th. I need two whole days of straight production just to decorate and get all the headbands and headdresses and handwebs ready. Not to mention the belts.
So yeah. Panicking. Furious. Not Pleased At All right now.
