Not Dead Yet

I have an epic list of "to-do" before leaving for DragonCon. I still have SO MUCH STOCK TO MAKE *aaiiiieeeeeeeeflailarmpanic*
I leave Mesa on Tuesday. Morning preferably. I have to be in Atlanta by no later than Thursday morning, but in reality, I'm pretty sure my hosts would appreciate it if I arrived on Wednesday night. It's an 1800 mile drive. Gah.
Plus.. this is the first year that I'm doing the con without Cullen. Which means I will in all likelihood be doing the 27 hour drive mostly without stopping, and only occasional napping. Which is fine. But having that other person to drive made life SO much easier. Being able to go to sleep in one state and wake up in another was a godsend.
In theory I have a minion that will be waiting for me in Atlanta. This should be interesting. I hired him through an ad I placed on Craigslist. He is very muscly. He's a cop AND a tattoo artist, so I think we'll get along just dandy. I am sorely tempted to try and persuade him to stand in a crowd and shout " I AM A PRETTY PRETTY PRINCESS!". He seems like the big burly type that would totally do it.
I have 4 days to really crank out stock for the show...somewhere in there I have to make a scalemail skirt, mantle, and in theory, a scalemail tunic. About 20 hours of work for me.
Also have to get the car an oil change...come up with an extra $200, and find time and money to texture spray my display poles.
*sigh*
Back to the steel mine ( grumbles about how she'd rather be playing WoW right now).
