meccahiI am NEVER having anyone do yardwork for me again.
The City of Mesa was threatening to sue me because my yard was.. how shall we say it.. a jungle. So.. Cullen and I started weedwhacking the yard. Then after he left for paradise.. I REALLY weedwhacked it. Spent 6 hours going over almost a half an acre of land with a weedwhacker cause my lawnmower works better as a toaster. Or a doorstop. Ayways. AFTER I did all of this my Pappa Dearest was like " oh yeah I know this guy that will help you with the yard.. I'll send him over to you know.. even things out a bit.. get that grass low to the ground so you don't have to do that again for awhile."
OK that would have been helpful like.. a WEEK ago but sure, Why not.
I step out of my house this evening. And find a desert. The Fucking Sahara.
The vinework that used to be in front of my window.. that all of the cats play in.. GONE. The rosebushes GONE. My Grapevine that's been here for almost 60 years.. GONE.. The lantana that used to be on the side of the house. GONE. My FIG TREE!!!!!!!!!!!GONE.. They took the whole FUCKING tree. AND the tree that the grapevine was growing on.GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL of the lantana out back is gone.
They took everything.
AND they left PILES of grass everywhere.. they DIDN'T even take the pile of sticks and palm fronds that they said they would yesterday.. that I specifically pointed OUT to them yesterday.
WHAT THE FUCK?????????
This has just brought me to tears. I can't believe this. It's just bordering on the point of malicious intent. Why? How could anyone possibly consider that "just trimming the weeds and grass down"?
Last time I checked FIG TREES were not weeds. Nor are Rosebushes. Nor Grapevines.
I don't know what else to say.
