So I've finally managed to get a few photos from the infamous Georgia Funky Formal... still waiting on the decent ones.. but here are a couple of my "Dorothy" costume..
My first attempt at working with greasepaint... Most definitely a developed skill... I'll learn one of these days..

I wish this one had turned out full body.... but you can at least see the majority of the costume... Heh...can you tell I got dressed in the booth?

I've not done much actual photography this show, since I've been so overwhelmingly busy ( which is good!)... but I did manage to snap a couple shots these past couple of weekends.
This couple came to visit me in Carolina last year, and they were delightful... so I was thrilled when they stopped by the Georgia show. Those masks? All made by the husband... they're actually part of a full costume for both husband and wife and they are quite literally the BEST leather work that I have ever seen in my life. And he does it just for fun..
"Dragons Among Us"
Then last weekend.... I found out that we had anoles on site..which are my favorite lizard.. Found this little guy next to my neighbor's booth.
"Tiny Dragon"
Tomorrow and Thursday are being spent finishing special orders and making stock... then it's off to the Kentucky show for the weekend... then leaving an employee there while I jet across the country to Oregon for the Faerieworld's festival. Then to decide whether or not I can have my employee just finish out Kentucky for me ( good gods I hope so...I am so not doing that show again..ugh).. If I can.. then I can gallivant up and down the Pacific Northwest for a bit before heading back to AZ to make stock for DragonCon. Or head south again...
I can't wait to buy my RV at the end of the year so I never have to be obligated to return to AZ again, unless I really want to. And to have my critters with me.
Oh yeah.... and it looks like one way or another I'm buying a booth this year. Strangeness indeed.
