I wanted to try something a little different...
The mountains are so distant, yet so...present. Obstinate... waiting.. overshadowing. I wanted to make them feel like they were cartoon cut-outs placed on a distant landscape. To make them feel less real.
I didn't say it had to make sense, now did I?
