The new Fiona Apple is surprisingly good. I wasn't a huge fan of hers.. but this new album is like swimming in half lit water.. all ripply with bands of light and dark waving through the sounds. It's good.

So I think I've actually managed to master my digital camera. Go me.

The new Fiona Apple is good...borderline great even when considering the musical offerings of late...but I think it's being whored out under the pretense that it's more than it is. A radio personality said earlier in the week that she'd rather listen to the album than have sex and that was just startling within itself.

I'm a big fan of Fiona Apple's first offering, "Tidal" and have yet to really be impressed with anything she's done since. She seemed to have caught the hype about herself and actually started to believe it.

She also needs to eat. yeesh.

I'm usually off Monday through Thursday.. How I love my 3 12 hour shifts. So anytime at all on those days..

I've liked a song here and a song there from her.. I've respected her lyrics deeply.. I like the way she pens things.. but this newest album is just..lovely. I'm beyond impressed with it.

And yeah.. she could do with a hamburger.. or 10. I'd be happy to donate some of my extra fluff to her. I still think she's gorgeous though.

I was impressed..I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as good as it is. It seems that whenever something remotely good comes out it gets hyped to the Nth degree until it's very firmly pimped to death.

Heh.. Rather listen to it than have sex??? Sheesh. Listening to it while having sex would be acceptable.
