Stupid West Nile

I seem to be doing alot of the marathon sleeping lately... which would be all well and good if i didn't have about a bazillion and one things to do ..

No word from the realtor about the house... which is frustrating. I meant to call yesterday.. AND today .. but both days I was comatose.. No idea what's up with that. Absolutely no contact from the realtor which does not impress me much. It could be that they found some other bastard to buy the house. Who knows....

Birthday # 30 is coming up.. I still need to plan the party...( I'm still thinking Masquerade themed would be cool).. but I need to rent some place.

Meh... kind of in a grouch state due to oversleeping and not accomplishing enough this week. And the house... and .. we.. turning 30. It's just a weird and unsettling thought for now. I'll get over it.

On to clothe my nekked self!

Yaaaaa birfday!

Oh, that last line reminded me, we probably need to round up pics for the website (*chuckle* do you have anymore of yourself or your work area that would be appropriate?)

Also, juggling the "blog" idea in my head. It seems the way to go, as then you could just log into the user interface on the actual website instead of digging thro Yahoo's cryptic layout. And then I can mess with back-end stuff when I need to. Oh, and I threw all of the old stuff into an "/oldstite" folder on Yahoo. I'd like you to go through it and save any media (pictures, blocks of text you like) whenever you have the time, OR you could tell me to archive it on my comp so you can go thro it later. Either way we should free up that memory on the server.

Dang, sounds like you just recovered from/almost got something nasty. I was knocked out cold for most of last week. Hope you hear good things about the house soon.

Namaste,

Remember how I used to throw my parties at Arizona Joe's? Try talking to him about renting out the back patio. It's not huge or fancy, but he doesn't get nervous about a bunch of drunk rennies like the hotels in town do.

I was thinking about that.. how much was it to rent it for a night? And I'd kind of like to have a bartender cause me likey being sans sober on my birthday..
I've been meaning to pick your brains about it for awhile.. but I kept spacing out on asking you..

He didn't charge me anything. He did it for the bar tab which he knew would be huge. Now, I don't know if he did that because Frank made the aragements or what so if I were you I wouldn't go in assuming he'll do it for free, but he knows how rennies drink and it seemed to be enough for him on a slow night. That's the key, pick a slow night. He gave us a bartender too. And we ordered food from the kitchen so even with not charging us for the space Joe came out good on the food and booze tabs.
He was really great about all of it. Just make sure to tell him what great fun you had at the other events in his space and how you'd love to have yours there. A little flattery goes a long way.

Thanks!... heh.. yeah.. I never expect ANYTHING for free...I was totally expecting to pay at least $150 for just renting the space.. it's good to hear that he's friendly and willing to put up with rowdy hippies for a night..
And I'll be sure to mention what a fantabulous time I had at the last party I was there for.. cause it's true.
