Feeling of oppression for some reason..as if the walls of communication have suddenly shot up out of the ground.. and I can't get to the people inside.
Maybe it's just a phase. Maybe it's the wind.
Or maybe I'm really a disappointment and every one is too polite to tell me.
To He Who Has Deleted His Diary... I hope I wasn't a cause of that...I hope I'm just being hyper-sensitive and super-girly.
Just how long DOES rice last if it's refrigerated?
I hope friendships last longer than rice.
I really hope I don't lose my mind to the wind and the noise of traffic in the street.
Life is much better with rice and vodka.. but would be a thousand times better with company of a nighttime sort... Get your mind out of the gutter, I don't mean it that way!
Not that THAT would be bad either..

Rambling.. Sorry fellow night crawlers.. felt I had to vent in my random not so lucid manner..

Did you hear about the news story of the whale that has a completely unique call.. like 30decibals above all other known whales.. and who's migratory pattern is completely different from every other whale know...

I think that must be a very lonely whale.

End Transmission.

I wouldn't bother with rice more than a day or two. Friendships, though, well that's a different matter entirely. True friends don't spoil and they don't have expectations. They simply want you to be true to yourself.

Hope you're still up for hanging out when I get to AZ (which will be soon). I'm always up for creative projects, stargazing, and watching movies.

1. Rice can be frozen. If you leave it in the 'frige and want to microwave it, put a little cup of water in there with it. It will help keep the rice from getting nasty and crunchy.

2. You are only what you make of yourself. These people/person who make you feel like less than that, they dangle illusions in front of you. They are not real, nor are they worth the time to feel sorry for/about. They represent an image that you want, but they aren't actually the real deal.

3. Not everybody needs a gazillion friends. I have like 5 people I consider a good friend, someone I can count on and would turn to in an emergency. Nothing wrong with that. You've got people like that in your life. Don't forget about them...

4. FEEL BETTER. Lots of good things about you. You are creative, inventive, fun, understanding, and sympathetic. There are people who work for years (myself included) to acquire those traits. Don't forget the great things you have in staring at the things you wish you had.

This time of year...

If you're feeling walls rise up, it's common this time of year. People pull into their shells, go more internal, hibernate to be ready for spring, so to speak.
