Heh.

One of my local ogglers/chainmail fan.. whatever, let me know that this photo was in his posted photo album. I found it amusing. It's from the weekend of sucktastic sales and torrential downpours, when I decided that going to the pub was a much better vocation than sitting in my booth with no one around.

I was amused. I was also dripping wet.

Anywhoo.

Last night around 2AM was sitting outside of the library playing WoW.. because I'm an addict. Normally I don't get creeped out. A little nervous that the cops will pull up and ask what the hell I'm doing at 2am inside my car.. but not creeped.

However. I DID get creeped out when I started hearing BANGING noises coming from INSIDE the library. Banging as if someone was trying to get out.

Banging loud enough that I honestly considered calling the cops.

I listened to it for about 10 minutes. No pattern to it. Not mechanical (the air conditioning units pop on every 20 minutes or so.. and always scare the bejesus out of me because they make a loud Kathunk!noise when they come on).

I drove around the building to see if anyone was trying to break in(or get out). All the doors were fine.. no broken windows, no movement inside. Pulled back to the front of the library. Still LOUD random banging noises. This time from a different part of the building.

This building is not very big. It's a small town library. Really small town.

Random noises from inside the library go on for about half an hour. Then nothing.

Came back this morning to do more work with the website. Talked with one of the librarians, and confessed to her my semi-illicit loitering in the wee hours of the morning. Talked to her about the banging noises. Asked her if she had heard anything of the sort.

She said no... BUT that she does hear other noises when she's doing work there by herself. Like someone talking.. or someone moving around.

Iiiiiiiinteresting.

They're fairly laid back here.. and I think I may be able to convince them to let Molly(when she's here)and myself do an overnight stay for some ghost hunting activity.

I feel like such a dork.
