Pulling Over to the Side of the Pretentiousness Turnpike

Semi-productive day in the land of the lazy!

I've been bouncing back and forth between kitchen experiments ( an attempt of boiled kale greens and bangers with garlic..it's rather tasty). Inspired by a dish that kittekaat made when I was visiting nyghtowll in Oregon...to playing with GIMP and cramming some more learning into my skull.
Plus more photo editing, and a bit of cringing on my part because I know that others can do so much better than I can. I just keep reminding myself that I'm learning.. still learning.

So.. to cap it off. I'm starting another website as kind of a chronicle for myself. To see how I'm progressing, and to hopefully use as a portfolio later on in life, if I ever decide to really progress with this. So.. I am now the proud owner of EyeOfMeccahi.com

Indeed... much with the pretentiousness. I feel rather silly.

In the mean time.. I had fun doing this with GIMP today.. figuring out text and playing with color balances. I was trying to make it look like an old postcard from the road.




It's a short jump from text to watermarks.. so I guess that's next.

And still waiting for people to call about bowling. I'm losing hope here kids.

I'd go with a less blue and bleach more color out of it for the old photo look.
