I honestly had one of the most wonderful weekends. Not because of work ( although standing around with my friends and selling pretties is generally amusing).. but because of.. well..dinner. Dinners.

Saturday night was the spontaneous mass exodus to the local steak house. 10 random hungry hungry hippies hording in and demanding our steak and salads. We weren't that bad... but we WERE hungry. We sang Winnie-the-Pooh songs and Neil Diamond while waiting. A dear performer friend of ours in another room of the restaurant kindly bought us 4 bottles of tres groovy red wine. He was hugged. Massively hugged by 10 people.. at once. It was beautiful. Warm. After the restaurant had cleared out waitress told us to go head and smoke inside ( it's a non smoking restaurant).. She also let us take the leftover wine home.

Tonight just about everyone I know touched into the mass conciousness and chose the same restaurant. Pandemonium ensued. Who could ask for anything more?

I will OFFICIALLY be going to England in September. I received a firm scolding from the director of the school about rescheduling twice as he had to turn a person down because they thought I was attending this spring. I'm of two minds with this. A) It's my fault. I should have figured way back in December that I wasn't going to be able to afford it. My bad. I suck. And I do it well. B) Shouldn't I have heard SOMETHING from them to confirm that I was actually enrolled in the Spring semester? The last I had heard anything from them was last year. Not a whisper since.

I still feel like a bastard because of it though. It's a TINY school. The largest class they will accept is 7 people. Yeah. Fucking Tiny. Comes from that whole being an artisan/trade school. Hence the guilty "I suck" feelings. I also have a tendancy to beat myself up about things. Pretty certain I deserve it this time.

My 28th birthday is coming up. Scary. My real birthday is on the 19th... the party is the 23rd. The masses have been informed of the Jello/Pasta/Lube Wrestling... and the possibilities of a bouncy castle. I'm excited and a bit apprehensive as this will quite possibly be the largest party that I have ever thrown. Last year 50 people showed up. To my utter shock and surprise. Funny enough , they weren't the people I had given invitations to.
Life is odd like that.

I should really sleep. Like... now.

HEY! Congradulations on England :) I'm glad to see it's officially official now hehe. I shall definitely be in attendance. I haven't been in a bouncy castle in ages.
