Another chapter in my world of "WTF?"

meccahiSo I finally got around to checking my mail today.
Guess what I found?
A lovely letter from the DMV stating " Dear Ms.Rhoads, due to your unpaid traffic citation, we are suspending your license effective blah blah blah."
Me: WOT?????
On my way to Kentucky I got a speeding ticket. I paid said speeding ticket when I finally GOT to Kentucky.
Apparently the state of New Mexico begs to disagree on said payment of ticket.
Thank the gods I am a SMART monkey and saved both my money order receipt, my receipt for mailing the payment, my copy of the citation, AND my copy of the delivery confirmation that I slapped on it to MAKE SURE that it arrived.
And I don't care what the damned DMV says..I am leaving for DragonCon come hell or high water.
