Oct. 13th, 2005 02:15 amI am now duly reminded of why I hate day shift.
Evil Traffic, Evil Daystar,Evil NORMAL people on cell phones and SUV's and streaked hair and manicured nails and surface veneers that I want to crack to pull the meat from inside.. where are they?? Who are they?? Do they have to apply a patch every time they smile? It's like I see a city of soulless wonder stretching out for miles before me.
And that's just Scottsdale.
I can't wait to be put back on the graveyard shift again.
I've never been one for daytime activity really unless I'm living in a forest or some outback place. Where I don't hear traffic, or sirens. Just the sound of wind and birds and the occasional bubbling and cough of a hippie and company. I like those sounds.
It's just a matter of hunting for balance.
