Random thought
Dec. 1st, 2005 12:10 am"God may be in the minds of Man..but Man may not be in the mind of God.."
Just a random thought that popped into my head while listening to Coast to Coast. Apparently the Catholic church is deciding on whether or not to change the teachings of Limbo. To the Catholics, if a baby dies before being baptized, its soul goes to Limbo.. a place neither Heaven.. nor Hell.. because the child is deserving of neither.
This is supposedly a teaching directly from God?
And the Catholic church wants to change it.
Interesting.
I mean it's not like it's the first time. This is the same Organization that held a council on what should be included in the Bible, and what shouldn't.
I don't often discuss religion with people. Nor write about it. Because to me it's personal. It's a choice. A calling to something sacred and Divine. I have no problems sharing my religion ( Pagan..simply..Pagan), but i'm not going to press it or the fact that I am Pagan onto anyone. It works for me. It feels right to me. I do not belong to any organization. I'm not Wiccan. Just your basic run of the mill patchwork Pagan. I simply hold to basic ideas. They change, they evolve, they shift.. but they are no less or more sacred than the next person's concept of the Divine.
Random thoughts indeed.
