While I was not approved for the $5000... I was approved for $3600.
Yeefuckinghallelujah.
So I have a bit more to go before I officially have enough for school but this helps beyond belief. And it looks like my job has been underpaying me. I don't know for how long.. but when I went permanent with them my pay was supposed to jump to $13 an hour. Was looking at my paystub yesterday and did the math... $12 an hour is what these lovely people have been paying me. WTF??
I may be entitled to some backpay. We'll see. I may have to throw a royal fit.. which is not something I do often.. but sometimes is necessary.
Went out with Grog last night for errand-y stuff to my folks... actually clobbered and dragged is more like it.. and I forgot some of the stuff I was supposed to bring there.. and Pappa Dearest hadn't left stuff that he was supposed to... so a mostly pointless trip... but we at least stopped and had Kick Ass Me-Hi-can food at a little hole in wall place.
It's a difficult task not snorting refried beans when there is "Achey Breakey Heart" playing in spanish on the radio. Badly.
House must be cleaned. This is starting to get embarrasing.
