meccahiSo Grog and I ventured out to see Superman Returns.
Day-um!
They actually did it right. I haven't seen such an impressive opening since the original Star Wars. They didn't cheese (or at least over-cheese) anything.. they used the CGI tactfully and didn't overdo it.. They made Superman seem.. human.
Yeah. I liked it. Alot.
Theatre was set to Arctic Ass freeze though. Especially stepping in from outside where it's 107 degrees, then going to 60 degrees. One does not think to grab a coat when it's 107. And guys ... here's a hint, when your girlfriend leans against you and says "brr cold".. this is the hint to put your arm around her and keep her warm. Smirking at her and saying "heh, should have brought a jacket" is a one way ticket to a swift glare and a knee to the kidneys. Just saying..
