The Holding Pattern

meccahiGah.
Just one of those weeks where I feel like a complete and utter failure at everything. Life, dreams, goals, and what I'm doing now. I'm trying to change it.. but feeling locked into some holding pattern of doom. Working on it, and I have to keep reminding myself, but still it gets frustrating.
In other news I inadvertently tried to kill Grog by breaking a light bulb (actually two.. I broke one an hour before...i shouldn't touch things) and not finding all of the pieces.
He came limping into our room bleeding like he'd just been the last soldier to crawl out of a foxhole.. and then proceeded to bleed all over the floor and the bathroom, and the tub.
Once the gushing stopped, we found out that it was actually just a small cut. But still.. that was rather unpleasant.
And "Walking with Dinosaurs" is a really good show. I sat for 3 hours giggling with geekish glee while watching it. Yay for thrift stores and cheap VHS collections. They had the whole series for $2. Also picked up a box set of "Biographies" which should be interesting, and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for a buck.
In news of the good, we can finally see the floor of our bedroom. For the first time in months. Gods it can get beyond messy here. Heh.
And it's now time to clean out the car..
