Yesterday I was a madwoman and worked a 14 hour shift..

This is starting to get just silly.. and they probably should cut me off at 12 because after that I start to get a little loopy, and start telling the rude customers what I REALLY think and that doesn't always go over so well.. I'll just leave that alone.

Taking more pictures and playing with my camera today and tomorrow I think.. and making chainmail.. those are my plans. Switched a couple of days with a co-worker so I can go see Fluffy and Cirque Du Soleil .. very excited about that.

Roaches are out in force now that summer is coming upon us.. and they seem to think that the best places to crawl and die are inside our house. I'm not pleased.
I can handle spiders,scorpions,snakes etc... give me a list of the things that people in general aren't too fond of.. and I'm fine with them all... except roaches. They.Are.Creepy. Ewww. Just.. ewww. They CRUNCH when stepped on and it's just ick. I have no idea why it grosses me out so much.. but it does.

This of course amuses Grog to no end. Which equals fun times with torturing the Meccahi.

Speaking of crunchy bugs.. the grasshoppers have also materialized. Everywhere.

There's a gas station by the hellhole I call work, where I go to frequently. On Saturday night I drove in, parked, and walked to the C-store only to see EVERYTHING outside covered in grasshoppers. Thousands of them swarming.. hitting the lights.. banging against things.. and clinging to the wall like it was their last bastion of hope. Like the Western Wall of Grasshoppers..
Then I look over to the gas pumps and see thousands of grasshopper corpses everywhere.. and as a car came through there was the horrible crunching sounds..

Then a 40 year old bleach blond overweight Scottsdale stripper showed up with one of the bar bouncers..

Some nights are just more interesting than others.

Off to get work done...
