Two Men Enter...

meccahiSo.. so far.. I am feeling remarkably well for having had 6 teeth pulled today (technically yesterday.. go go procrastination).
And I was totally under the impression that I was going to be awake through the whole thing.. but once again I'm smart like rock and didn't read the paper where it said "general anesthetic". Nope.. it was Good Night Gracie for me. I had totally braced myself for 2 hours of drilling and bone grinding sounds.
Instead it was just the pinprick of the I.V. needle, and a rapid onset of sleepy time.
I can see why people get addicted to certain drugs. The visuals during my knock out time were just .. celestial.
I remember touring through galaxies and some golden lights... lots of sparkling, glittering things to catch the eyes.. and somewhere in there, a goddess-type form sitting in a lotus position. Lots of more pretty, pretty lights. Then some geometric shapes and a fast ride.
Apparently during this time I woke up and told the dentist that he looked like Mad Max.
According to him he asked me " You mean like in Thunder Dome?".. and my response was a vehement "No! Earlier!"
Weird.
No solid foods and no smoking for awhile. Just lots of pudding and water. But all in all much less traumatic than I was expecting.
Oh yeah! And they let me keep all six of my teeth! They are oddly fascinating and gross at the same time. No idea what I'm going to do with them. Maybe make a necklace for a Pirate Day. Or just put them in a box.
