Pimpage and whatnot

So.. more news of the random and not terribly exciting. I'm still holding strong on my diet change.
I did attempt to bake a low (healthy) carb bread that was pure whole wheat with no white flour. What I got was a brown slightly loaf shaped brick, that may or may not be bread-like. I fail at baker-ness. It tastes ok with butter, but it's nothing I'd serve to anyone but a distant relative.

In other news.

I'm mailing out my apps for Kentucky, and... for North Carolina. Crossing my fingers and toes for that. It would make life in the fall pure hell.. but I think I'd enjoy it.

And I'm slowly building my Etsy site! Look at me be motivated. Because having a website, and ebay site and a Myspace isn't enough.

I had to make an inventory list for the past couple of shows that I've applied for. I realised that I am in dire need of more organization.. because my list of designs spans over two pages. Crikey.

It's not even noon...I should not ponder a nap.

A Letter of Hate..

Almost done with my applications. Trying to get some actual photos printed up instead of just pictures on copy paper.

But no. Oh no. My HP "photo printer".. seems to take umbrage with that concept.

I'm already not a huge fan of HP, partly thanks to their brilliance at being able to create programs that manage to conflict with their own hardware. Their Photosmart program? Constant "fatal errors" and half the time it crashes. Or just doesn't respond at all. Or the fact that there's been mass amounts of documented errors with the wireless cards in their Pavilion series.. and they did nothing about it. (Note,.. found this out after mine died.. and they kept trying to get me to fuck with the BIOS... oh HELLS no) Just kept right on using the same cheap wireless card.

Now? The printer ( which has all the intelligence of a retarded ant).. refuses to print my 4X6 photos... on my 4X6 photo paper.. because it says there's a "size conflict".

Wha??

Dear HP. Stop with the crack smoking, start with the making of a decent product. K'thanks. Bai!

Too Damn Pretty

This is Mogwai. One of the 5 furfaces that drives me crazy on a regular basis.

In other news of my increasingly annoying day..

I finished my apps. Yay! I worked damn hard to make sure I had an awesome presentation for the new shows that I want to get into.

I check my bank account to make sure that all is in order before I mail off checks and whatnot.

I notice my account is awfully low. Start to go over my purchases.. and then notice that I have two checks that were cashed for $80.00. I check to see who they were for... they say that they were for Bank of America.. which is on the up and up since I have automatic credit card payments made out of may account.

Except they're supposed to be ONCE a month.. not Twice. Which is what randomly happened this month. Which screws me. Alot. $80 isn't much, but right now it's the difference between food and gas money to my next show.

I print out the checks and take them to BofA. Sit down and talk with a very cute and quirky customer service girl. Apparently though the payments go to BofA.. Chase ( my bank), is the one that issues the request for payment. So we call Chase on speakerphone.. talk to another nice lady..... who says that she has NO idea why they randomly decided to double bill me this month. And that it's going to take a couple of days to figure out what happened and (hopefully) reimburse me.

Weird shenanigans like this happened during Louisiana too, where Chase randomly decided I didn't need a deposit account for credit cards ( on my biggest weekend ever).. and I had to trace everything on slips instead of run it through the machine.

We shall see what happens. I'm hoping they can process it swiftly and without kerfuckering things up.

After going through all of this the nice customer service girl gave me her card, and said " if you want to switch your business banking to a bank that won't Fuck Up...."

Ok not exactly those words.. but pretty close.

Haven't slept since 9pm last night. Sooooooooo tired.
