I think they just exist all over. Everyone's "broken" these days, and they're taking it out on anyone they can (sometimes without realizing it). Believe me, I've been through my share of similar experiences - and it sucks big time.

hmm... just realized I needed to catch up on my LJ reading and so I peeked back a few on various pages... and upon seeing this entry I couldn't resist responding:

I think the key here is to know what you want and also to know that you deserve it. As long as you have both of those then you aren't asking too much... the only thing is you may have to wait awhile so you can't be afraid to be alone like so many people are. Anything worth having is worth waiting for.

By the by... a couple of these conversation chains reminded me of a book called "The Bridge Across Forever" by Richard Bach... maybe you should check it out if you haven't already. Should you choose to do so I hope it will provide some inspiration.

As far as lesbians go I'm all for variety... probably why I'm somewhat bisexual (although I heavily favor females... I suppose that just translates to open-minded/curious).
