That was unexpected.
My badge worked the door, so I'm still officially employed.
Logged in and checked my email. My supervisor sent me a reply to my two week notice, in essence saying "Uhhhh ok, bluff called, please don't leave" She "requests" ( and that's the first time I've heard her request something from me) a meeting on Monday morning "to discuss other options". She wants to "extend an offer to have me stay longer".
Well lady.. you pushed me into deciding to either leave or stay, and now that I've made my decision you decide you don't like it because you don't have enough people? Tough.
It was the most polite letter I've ever received from her. I'm a thinkin that the Owner and President might have had a meeting with her. Or not. Doesn't matter.
Should be an interesting Monday either way..

Pad the poccket a bit if you want, but otherwise follow your heart. I offer up the caveat, while following my heart I had to eat alot of rice and beans, because I sure as hell wasn't going to eat anymore Ramen.
